Terms of Business

The following terms and conditions of sale and delivery apply to all deliveries from Basic Apparel. The terms and conditions apply in cases where no other written agreements have been made between you as the buyer and Basic Apparel.

Payment

  • Basic Apparel accepts payments with Dankort/VISA-dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard, and JCB. Payment will only be debited from your account when the item is shipped.
  • All amounts are in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include VAT.
  • Basic Apparel uses an approved payment server that encrypts all your information with an SSL protocol. This means that your personal information cannot be read.
  • We accept payments with Anyday.

The amount will only be debited from your card when the item is shipped.
When you choose to pay with Anyday, the first payment is withdrawn when the item is shipped. Thereafter, you will pay your monthly installment on the last working day of the coming month, and for three months ahead.
No fees or interest will be added to your purchase, provided you pay on time. If you return your purchase, the agreement with Anyday will automatically terminate.

Gift cards

We offer gift cards valid for 1 year from the date of issue. Unfortunately, we cannot support gift cards with a longer validity.
 

Delivery

Normal delivery time is 1-2 business days in Denmark, but longer delivery times may occur during busy periods.

Freight

We offer free shipping on orders over DKK 799.

You can choose from the following delivery options:

  • Bring Shop Delivery: from DKK 42
  • Bring Home Delivery: From DKK 45
  • GLS Parcel Shop: from DKK 45
  • GLS Home Delivery: from DKK 76

You can have your parcel delivered either to your home address or to a parcel shop. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the parcel will automatically be dropped off at the nearest GLS or Bring parcel shop.

Customs

Customs duties will be applied when shipping goods to Norway. Any local import duties and taxes on shipments are at the customer's own expense.

Extended right of withdrawal

An extended right of return applies to all orders placed between November 1st and December 31st. For all purchases made during this period, an extended right of withdrawal applies until January 15th.

We offer a 14-day full right of return on items purchased from our webshop. The period is calculated from the day you receive the order.


Do you wish to return your items?

You are always welcome to return your purchase if, contrary to expectations, it does not meet your wishes. You have a 14-day right of return on items that are in the same condition as when received. If this is not the case, we reserve the right to refuse your return.


Paperless returns - A more responsible choice.
We send out many packages each year. By switching to an online return portal, we ensure a more responsible choice by reducing paper consumption. We hope for your understanding of this solution, which will help reduce the use of unnecessary paper.


You must register your return via our return portal:

  1. 1. Follow the link to the return portal
  2. Enter your email and order number
  3. Select the style you wish to return

You now have two options:

  1. Choose exchange (Free return shipping)
  2. Choose to have the money refunded (Return label costs DKK 49 and is paid directly in the return portal)

Complaint


Experiencing an issue with your item?

We go to great lengths to ensure the highest possible quality. Both in the selection of the best materials and partners. However, there can always be defects or shortcomings in a style - or something else that does not meet your and our high standards.

If you experience a defect in your item, please contact us at info@basicapparel.dk, and we will do our best to help you get a new item without defects or ensure that you get your money back.

  • For complaints, please send an email to info@basicapparel.dk – remember to take pictures of the defect as well as the order number.
  • When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Sale of Goods Act apply to purchases. This means that you have a 24-month right to complain.
  • If your complaint is justified, it means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, get your money back, or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.

Refund

  • If you regret your purchase, you will receive your money back. If the item has depreciated in value, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.
  • There will be a processing time for returns within 5-7 business days after receipt of the return package.
  • If you paid with a Dankort or other credit card, the amount will be refunded to your account. The money will be refunded to the same card used for the purchase.
  • If you paid with a gift card, the amount for the returned items will be credited back to this gift card.
  • If you paid partly with a gift card and another payment method, the amount will be refunded in the same way.
  • If you would like to have money paid out from a gift card, please contact us at info@basicapparel.dk
  • Danish cards: 1-2 banking days
  • International cards: 7-10 banking days
  • For manual transfer: 1-5 business days
  • It may take up to 14 days for the money to be in your account

Complaints procedure

If you wish to complain about your purchase, you can contact us at info@basicapparel.dk. We will then try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.

If the problem cannot be resolved directly with us, you have the option to submit a complaint to an independent third party:

  • You can submit a complaint via the Danish Consumer Complaints Board's website: https://forbrug.dk/
  • Here you fill out a complaint form, where you describe the problem, attach documentation (e.g., receipt, pictures of the item) and send it to the board.
  • The Danish Consumer Complaints Board will then process the complaint.

Privacy Policy

When you shop with us, we need the following information:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone no.
  • Email address

We register and disclose the personal data necessary to deliver the goods to you. You have the right to be informed about what information we hold about you.

If you believe the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you request it. This may be, for example, if your data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which we collected it.
